High Pressure Polyurethane Equipment
HPE Series
The new high pressure models series HPE represent the TOP line of a wide range of polyurethane dual component foam injection machines produced and marketed by Europoliuretani. Versatility and user friendliness are the main features that make of the HPE series an ideal choice for every type of foams are they rigid, flexible, integral, elastomeric, etc. The special care in the planning stage together with the selection of only the best quality components makes of series HPE a very reliable and long lasting equipment. It is produced in many models which differ in the software configuration, capacity and type of pumps and tanks installed. The main distinction concerns the choice of the pump which can be a gear (G) or a piston (P) pump with respect to the material to be mixed. The type of tank pressurized (with PED certification) or normal depends on the type of pump chosen. The tanks are located inside other tanks and the space in between is flooded with fluid which is used as a method to heat the chemicals using an immersion electric heater or cool it using two stainless steel heat exchangers (optional) in which circulates cold water supplied by a cooling unit (optional). The precision of both the ratio in weight and the percentage of each component is guaranteed and managed not only by a powerful microprocessor PLC but also by two high precision flow meters (optional). The software can interact with automated systems of process or control on the basis of the customers’ needs. Particular attention has been paid to the movement of the mixing head. An articulated arm with vertical and lateral movement and possibility of pneumatic self-balancing (optional) is fi xed. In this way the weight of the head during its movement is equal to zero. Every movement is easy and precise.
HPE Compact Series
The new high pressure models of COMPACT series represent a very important segment in the range of polyurethane dual component foam injection machines produced and marketed by Europoliuretani. Suitable for use with almost all types of polyurethanes are they rigid, flexible, integral, elastomeric, etc. COMPACT series combines compactness and versatility with ease of use. While maintaining the technical and functional features of its bigger sister (HPE), the COMPACT system is easy to move around and the compact dimensions of the same makes its use easy even on small spaces. The special care in the planning stage together with the selection of only the best quality components make of series COMPACT a very reliable and long lasting equipment.
HPE Basic Series
The high pressure models series BASIC represent the maximum compactness and versatility which can be obtained from a polyurethane dual component foam injection machine. Maintaining the reliability granted by series HPE, the new “basic” line offers some interesting and useful benefits. Thanks to the technical features applied, it was possible to manufacture a functional machine with small dimensions and low costs. The foaming equipment can be easily moved and its compactness makes it easy to use it also in little spaces. Also for this model particular attention has been paid to head movement. An articulated arm with vertical and lateral movement and possibility of pneumatic self-balancing (optional) is fixed. In this way the weight of the head during its movement is equal to zero. Every movement is easy and precise. The pumps are placed inside the tanks so as to avoid the possibility of leaks and reducing the consequences of dirt and blocking; no type of maintenance or seals replacement is required.

Mixing head
The series HPE comes equipped with the model EPL mixing head. This head is manufactured using the well known “L chamber” system which is proven to give excellent repeatability and good quality of the foam. This mixing head can be installed on request either horizontally or vertically and the injection can be done in an open or closed mould. The fi nal calibration of the head is done on site by adjausting the diameter of the orifi ce of the nozzles to match the actual density and specifi c weight of the chemicals in use. The mixing head has two cylindrical chambers the fi rst is to mix the two components coming from the high pressure nozzles and the other is to discharge the already expanding polyurethane into the mould.
