How the Titan 440 Delivers Efficiency in Primers, Paints and Coatings Applications

Titan has a solid reputation among spray and paint professionals that’s build on reliability. And for over 30 years, the Titan 440 has helped spray professionals stay at the top of the game. Introduced in 1986, the Titan 440 was the first commercial sprayer to be priced under $1,000, and it weighed around 50 pounds, delivering small contractors a new level of affordability and profitability.

Ideally suited for residential, property maintenance and small commercial applications, the Titan 440 is a top performance electric airless sprayer that applies all standard architectural primers, paints and coatings efficiently.

Contractors praise Titan machines for their reliability and output on smaller jobs. The 440 makes quick work of trimming, doors and gutters, but is also useful for larger projects, suitable for workloads of up to 100 gallons per week.

Features that are setting the Titan 440 apart from its competition include:

Quad+ Packings are designed to wipe abrasive coatings clean during operation to prevent piston damage or issues with the main sealing lip.

An AutoOiler delivers oil from the reservoir directly to the packings. All the user has to do is press a button to oil the packings. An oil reservoir is built into the face of the sprayer and a button sits flush on top. Before painting, all the user needs to do is push the button a few times instead of having to put oil in the bottle each time.

Sureflo Pusher Valve allows users to release a stuck lower ball valve without using a hammer. It primes reliably to unstick the ball valve just by pushing a button so the users doesn’t have to get their hands dirty and waste time trying to move a ball that’s stuck in place. A PermaLife Cylinder never wears or needs replacing

Electronic Pressure Control with Rapid Clean speeds up flushing and clean up. An electronic control feature comes with Rapid Clean switch with a low pulse mode to speed up cleaning and flushing.

A full size manifold filter handles more paint to prevent abrasives from reaching the gun tip. The full-size manifold filter onboard the Impact 440 is borrowed from more expensive Titan models and are bigger than older models to provide a better surface for filtering and boost efficiency.

The Titan 440 proportioner comes with an RX-80 gun, a TR1 reversible tip and a 50 foot hose. Optional accessories include a 12 in. extension tip, a Titan 415 spray tip, a 1/4 in. and a 4 oz piston pump seal and lubricant.

Access the Machine Easily to Perform Repairs

The Impact 440 is designed with a T-slot piston, which allows users to replace the entire fluid section or the packings easily.

The Impact 440 has a T-slot piston and a modular design. This means that you can replace the whole fluid section or just the packings without much hassle. If you have replacement parts with you, there’s no need to take it into a shop or carry lots of tools to open this unit up.
